Coronavirus: Rother Valley Country Park stays open - but urges visitors to follow social distancing rules

Earlier, it had seemed that the park was shutting because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
But now bosses have said the park is still open to visitors.

Hide AdA spokesman said on Facebook: We apologise for the confusion, the park is open but we ask that you respect government guidance with regards to social distancing.
“We will update the page as often as guidance changes.”
Earlier, the National Trust announced that it was closing all its venues after thousands of visitors descended on the organisation's sites around the country yesterday, flouting rules on social distancing.
The Government has said it is still safe for people to exercise and get fresh air in public open spaces but they must stay away from other users.
