Coronavirus cases in South Yorkshire rose by 70 on Monday: Every confirmed case mapped

Latest statistics show that 70 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed across Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster and Rotherham in the last 24 hour reporting period.
In total, there have been 3,528 cases across the county, with a total of 422 deaths.

Hide AdIn Sheffield, there have been 1,952 cases and 193 deaths and increase of eight on yesterday’s total.
Doncaster has seen 391 cases with 74 deaths, with the tally remaining static.
There have been 616 cases in Rotherham and 92 deaths, and increase of three
Barnsley has 569 reported cases and 63 deaths an increase of one.

Hide AdThe figures do not include deaths in care homes or the community and may include delays in deaths being reported.
However, hundreds of patients who have been treated for coronavirus at the region’s hospitals have been discharged home after recovering from coronavirus.
Across the country, there have been more than 20,000 deaths from Covid-19 – one of only five countries in the world to reach the grim milestone.
The USA has seen the most deaths, with Spain, Italy and France also recording more than 20,000 deaths.

The PM delivered a speech urging members of the public to continue to adhere to lockdown restrictions, saying that the UK was in a critical stage in the battle, amid calls for an easing of lockdown rules.
