Students empower elderly with iPads
The kind-hearted youngsters took part in a project to help residents at The Green Nursing Home learn how to use iPads.
The scheme was designed not only to empower the elderly residents with a better grasp of tablet devices and their uses but also to give pupils essential real-life experience.

Hide AdYear 10 student Chloe Drury ,15, said: “It was just a fun experience and really gratifying.
“We were teaching the elderly people how to email relatives, play games and even how to search for their favourite music on YouTube.
“Moving around and speaking with different age groups has also made me more confident.”
Participants received certificates from Dronfield Rotary Club, volunteering charity vInspired and Princess Diana’s legacy The Diana Award.
