In a letter sent to parents and carers, Notre Dame High School said a ‘small number of children who have been in direct prolonged contact with the confirmed case’ have to self isolate at home for 14 days.
It says the school remains open and all other children should still attend if they feel well.

The letter says: “We know that you may find this concerning but be assured that we are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Public Health England.”
Dozens of schools in South Yorkshire now have children, teachers and school staff self-isolating.
Some have multiple Covid cases, including King Ecgbert School in Dore, which has four and King Edward VII School, which has three.
