Circus is no horror show on Sheffield visit

First seen back in 1995, the Circus of Horrors were initially an act at Glastonbury Festival that were later projected into the mainstream media limelight when they featured as semi-finalists on Britian’s Got Talent in 2011.
As well as touring worldwide, they also appear at an array of major music festivals in more recent years.

Hide AdThe City Hall boasted a full house and an audience awaiting in anticipation to see the bizarre horrors and wonders of what the night would bring them.
As the night progressed, the audience and I were not disappointed.
I sat and watched in awe as I witnessed an amalgamation of death-defying heart racing acts, from sword swallowing, hair hanging, hula hoop performers, fire eating, stage illusion, trapeze and aerial acts to contortion.
Further suspense and excitement were created from the original and live rock ’n’ roll soundscape, steampunk and goth erotic imagery and its accompanying pyrotechnics.

Hide AdRingmaster Doktor Haze kept his audience on the edge of their seats for the duration of the show with racy eye popping acts, blood, nudity, suspense and debauchery.
This was a very interactive contemporary modern-day circus, that never failed to involve its curious audience.
Although Not for the fainthearted and certainly not for the younger viewer with its daring adult themes and language, it was an amazing night of gasps and cheers.
